Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Manage and nurture relationships with prospective clients
- You will lead the full sales life cycle including lead generation, lead qualification, outreach, through to deal closing
- Establish and develop a strategy for selling to targeted key accounts and new prospects
- Negotiate contracts and work with senior management to deliver on signed contracts
- Manage and grow your assigned targets through strategic sales techniques
- Identify and close new opportunities for growth including upsells, cross sells and referrals
- Forecast sales activity and revenue to be presented to Senior Management
- Solid business development/sales experience within an agency environment developing business at a senior stakeholder level is mandatory.
- Target prospective clients and source commercial opportunities through Marketing, Cold calling, Networking, Social media, Attending, exhibiting and presenting at events, OR Being a team player in the pitch process
Skills & Competence Required
- At least 2+ years in a business development role
- Experience selling digital – SEO & Paid Media
- Integrated agency experience is also ideal, but we are really open to candidates from marketing, digital, design, creative or comms agency backgrounds.
- Service/delivery focused
- Experience in prospecting for new business
- A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing/Business related degree
Bonus skills / Nice to have
- Project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient understanding of SEO, Google Ads and Facebook Ads
- Proficient understanding of either one e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, etc.)
- Proficient understanding of Web Design and Management
